Duty Drawback-1999 Scheme-10% of FOB Value or Rs 132 per Sq. M. on Export of Floor Coverings and Carpets w.e.f. 1/4/2000

GSR - In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 3, read with Rule 4 and Rule 5, of the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1995, the Central Governmentbeing satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 31-Customs (N.T.) dated 20th May, 1999, namely -

In the Table annexed to the said notification, for the entry in column 4 against Serial/Sub-Serial No. 57.01, the entry "10% (ten per cent only) of the f.o.b. value subject to a maximum of Rs. 132.00 (Rupees one hundred and thirty-two only) per square metre" shall be substituted with effect from 1st April, 2000.
