Application for permission under Section 19 (i)(e) of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 to acquire/hold foreign currency shares of a joint venture (JV)/Wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) abroad
Instructions:

1. The application should be completed in duplicate and sent to the concerned Regional Office of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

2. Name of the currency should be indicated while filling up value/amount columns.

Documentation :

1. Share certificate/s in original (with photostate copy/ies thereof) issued by the overseas JV/WOS should be enclosed with the application. (Originals will be returned to the applicant after verification by RBI).

2. In case of bonus shares, a certified copy of Board Resolution of JV/WOS approving and allotting bonus shares to Indian Company should be submitted.
