Appointment of Common Adjudicating Authority
S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Akashvani, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
(i) the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Akashvani, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad;
(ii) the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, New Custom Building, Near Balaji Temple, Kandla;
(iii) the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import-Sea Cargo), Custom House, 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai-600 001; and
(iv) the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Post Uran, District: Raigad, Maharashtra,
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Kiri Dyes and Chemicals, Plot No.299/1/A, GIDC, Phase II, Vatva, Ahmedabad and others, issued vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-48/2009, dated the 15th June, 2012, by the Joint Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
