Amendments in the Cus. Ntf. No. 14/2002 (N.T.), Dt. 07/03/2002 (Jurisdictional Changes)
GSR (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue
No. 14/2002-Customs (N.T.), dated the 7th March, 2002, namely :-
In the said notification,-
(a) for Sl. No. 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
(1) | (2) | (3) |
“2 | Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Chandigarh | Commissioners of Central Excise, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Jammu and Kashmir (other than preventive work of Customs). Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Amritsar (other than preventive work).” |
(b) for Sl. No. 31 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“31 | Chief Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Delhi | Commissioners of Customs, (Preventive )Delhi, (Preventive) Amritsar (only preventive work), (Preventive ) Jodhpur and Commissioner of Central Excise ( only preventive work of Customs).”, |
