Amendments in the Cus. Ntf. No. 15/2002 (N.T.), Dt. 07/03/2002 (Jurisdictional Changes)
GSR (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue
No. 15/2002-Customs (N.T.), dated the 7th March, 2002, namely: -
In the said notification, for Sl. No. 19 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“19. | The whole of-
(1)The State of Punjab; (2)The State of Himachal Pradesh; (3)The Union Territory of Chandigarh. | Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Amritsar. | Additional Commissioners, or Joint Commissioners, of Customs working under the control of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Amritsar. | Deputy Commissioners, or Assistant Commissioners, of Customs working under the control of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Amritsar.”. |
