CBEC appoints adjudicators

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.114/2004-Customs (N.T.), dated the 21st October, 2004, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide No. G.S.R. 689 (E), dated the 21st October, 2004, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Jaipur to act as Commissioner of Customs (Export Promotion), New Customs House, Mumbai and Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, New Custom House, New Delhi, for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notices pertaining to M/s Kansara Modler Limited, C-83, Marudhar Industrial Area, Basni, Jodhpur issued, vide, -

(i) F.No. S/10-EPCG-Commr-3/2000, dated the 29th September, 2000, by the Commissioner of Customs (Export Promotion), New Customs House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai;

(ii) C.No. VIII(H)10/Adj/9/2000/1244, dated the 6th October, 2000, by the Commissioner of Customs, Jaipur; and

(iii) C.No. VIII(Hqrs)10/ACV/20/2000/14073, dated the 6th October, 2000, by the Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, New Custom House, New Delhi.
