Amendments in Chapter 2 - Meat and Edible Meat Offal of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS)
S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments against entries at Sl. Nos.19, 20 & 21 in
Chapter 2 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import items, 2004-2009 as amended from time to time:-
Existing Entry
| 19 | 02011000, 02012000, 02013000, 02021000, 02022000, 02023000 | kg | Meat of buffalo (both male and female) | Free | 1. Export allowed on production of a certificate from the designated veterinary authority of the State, from which the meat or offals emanate, to the effect that the meat or offals are from buffaloes not used for breeding and milch purposes.
2. Quality control and inspection under Note 3 and 4 respectively as well as condition stipulated at Note 6 above are required to be fulfilled. |
