Amendments in the ITC (HS) Classifications - Import allowed through IOC

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 2.1 of the Export and Import Policy-2002-07, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 2002-07 as under:

Para 2 of the Notification No.2(RE-2003)/2002-07 dated 31.3.2003 would stand amended and would read as below:

“Import allowed through IOC, subject to para-2.11 of the Exim Policy, except for the companies who have been granted rights for marketing of transportation fuels in terms of Min. of P&NG’s Resolution No.23015/1/2001-MKT dated 8.3.2002 including HPCL, BPCL & IBP who have been marketing transportation fuels before this date.”
