STEs other than TRIFED - Export directly - fee - reduced from rate of 5% to 2.5% of the invoice value of consignment

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.1, 2.1 and 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification No. 3 dated March 2003 with respect to conditions applicable to export of Niger Seeds : -

The last sentence of the Paragraph 17 of aforesaid Notification dealing with STEs’ other than TRIFED may be amended to read as follows :-

“ Where STEs’ other than TRIFED are authorized to export directly, their fee stands reduced from the existing rate of 5% to 2.5% of the invoice value of export of consignment.”
