PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 95/2001 Date: 24.08.2001

Sub.: Assessment of Imports against DEPB under ICES – reg.

Importers/exporters, the Custom House Agents and all other concerned are hereby informed that in addition to the categories of Bills of Entry already being processed under ICES in terms of Public Notice No. 62/2001 dated 25.04.2001, Bills of Entry of the following categories will also be processed under ICES:-

1. DEPB Import where cess or Revenue Deposit is involved

2. Trading Houses

All the Bills of Entry filed by Trading Houses against DEPB or a normal Bill of Entry will be processed under ICES.

The processing of above mentioned Bills of Entry under ICES will come into effect from 10.09.2001.
