- Discussion and interaction between Importer / CHA and Appraising Officers relating to the objectionable matters of Bs/E inspection of samples, study of catalogue, literature etc.
In order to facilitate smooth functioning and speedy assessment of Bills of Entry the
following arrangement is provided.
- The Conference Room situated opposite EDI Appraising Hall is notified as interaction room for meeting and discussions between the Importers / CHA & Appraising Officers.
- The Appraising Officers sitting in the Appraising Hall No. 1 may interact with the Importer / CHA during 11.00 to 12.00 a.m. and 3.00 to 4.00 p.m. in the interaction hall only.
- Appraising Officers sitting in Appraising Hall II may interact with the Importers / CHAs
during 12.00 to 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 to 5.00 p.m. in the interaction hall only.
Trade may utilise the aforesaid timings for speedy appraisal of Bills of Entry.
