CHA’s , 100% EOU’s & All other concerned persons Importing Fabrics and Exporting Garments under 100% EOU Scheme

Attention of all CHA’s , 100% EOU’s & all other concerned persons importing fabrics and exporting garments under 100% EOU Scheme are instructed to note that henceforth they shall declare/specify the weight of the fabrics i.e. gram per square meter (GSM) in their Bs/E and the same should also be figured in their accounts maintained in their manufacturing units so that proper correlation of the resultant/export product with the imported material can be made the jurisdictional officers of the Department. Similarly while exporting the manufactured product viz., garments etc. the G.S.M. of the export product should be clearly mentioned in their shipping bills so that the proper officer of the custom may also satisfy himself that the export goods are properly correlated with the imported raw material with reference to its G.S.M. and LEO is given to such export goods without any difficulty.
