Sub: Cancellation of prior entry I.G.M. No.9590 of M.V.SAMARA VOY-03 filled by M/S. Able Marine P. Ltd., - reg.
Prior Entry I.G.M. N. 9590 of M.V.SAMARA VOY 103 was filled on 24.07.2001 and the same was provisionally accepted vide proviso (A) to section 30 (i) of the customs Act, 1962. However, evenafter, 14 days the said vessel M.V.SAMARA VOY-03 has not arrived.

In the circumstances, I have no option out to treat the said IGM filed provisionally only as cancelled.

In the circumstances, all the Importers and their Custom House Agents and other concerned are hereby informed that the Bills of Entry noted against this provisionally IGM, in view of this cancellation become old. They are requested to return these Bills of Entry to the Import Depts., and they may claim refund of duty if paid on any such Bills of Entry.

As and when the vessel enters the territorial water the IGM is filled again by the steamer Agent, the Importer and their Custom House Agents my file fresh Bills of Entry against the manifest which will be filled by the steamer agent again.
