Custom House Agents are required to be computerized to ensure faster retrieval of the employees data.

It is informed to all the Custom House Agents that the records of the CHA and their employees, who have been permitted to work in the Mumbai Customs Area, are required to be computerized to ensure faster retrieval of the employees data. Therefore, all the CHA’s are hereby requested to furnish the details of their firm and their employees as per the enclosed Annexures (total 06 Annexures) within 10 (ten) working days from the date of receipt of this Public Notice. Separate copies of Annexures should be submitted for individual employees. The CHA while furnishing the information will submit an undertaking to the effect that the submission made by them is correct and true to the best of their knowledge. Any inaccuracy and short comings shall attract relevant provisions of CHALR, 2004.
