In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy,1997-2002, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002.

In ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items (1997-2002, incorporating amendments made upto 31st August 1998) at Schedule 2 Table B, the entry against ITC code No. 0703 shall be amended as under:

Export of Bangalore rose onion through M/s Karnataka State Agriculture Produce Processing and Export Corporation Ltd (KAPPEC) for a total quantity of 3617 MT for 3 months from 7.9.99 (upto 7.12.99).
