Import under SIL/Public Notice : 69079000-Other & 69089002-Ceramic mosaic tiles

S.O (E) - In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy,1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 1997-2002 published on 31st March, 1997 (RE-98)as amended from time to time, namely-

After amendment, column 5 (Import under SIL/Public Notice) of the following will read as under:-

1.	69079000	Other	Import permitted against Special Import Licence (SIL) provided C.I.F. value is US $ 25 per square metre and above.
2.	690890 02	Ceramic mosaic tiles	Import permitted against Special Import Licence (SIL) provided C.I.F. value is US $ 15 per square metre and above.

This issues in public interest.
