EPCG Scheme - Subsequent licence- Exports against EPCG licence not to be added up for export performance


S.O. (E) :In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade Development & Regulation Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 13.4.1998), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendment made upto 13.4.1998).

In the Paragraph 6.5(v) of EXIM Policy for 1997-2002 (RE : 98) after second sentence, in the seventh line, the following may be added :

"However, exports made against any EPCG licence shall not be added up for calculating the average export performance for the purpose of the subsequent EPC Glicence".
