Ports for Coastal Trade
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and all other powers hereunto enabling, the Central Government hereby appoints the ports, specified in column (3) of the table below, situated in the State or, as the case may be, the Union Territory, specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said table to be coastal ports for carrying on trade in coastal goods with all ports in India :
Provided that port Pellet Plant Jetty at Shiroda is appointed to be coastal port for the purpose of carrying on or trade in iron ore pellets and its raw materials :

[OLD Provided further that Vadinar port is appointed to be coastal port for carrying on of trade in crude petroleum.]
Provided also that Dhamra Port is appointed to be coastal port for carrying on of trade in coking coal, thermal coal and limestone
