Amendments in the Customs Baggage Declaration Regulations, 2013
G.S.R (E).-In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 81 of the Customs Act, 1962, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Customs Baggage Declaration Regulations, 2013, namely:-

1. Short title.- These regulations may be called the Customs Baggage Declaration (Amendment) Regulations, 2014.

2.In the Customs Baggage Declaration Regulations 2013, in Form 1,-

(i) in sl. no 6, for the words "Number of Baggage", the words and brackets "Number of Baggages (including hand baggages)" shall be substituted;

(ii) in sl. no 10, in item (vii), for the figures "7,500", the figures "10,000" shall be substituted.

Note:- The principal regulations No. 90/2013-Customs (N.T.) dated the 29th August, 2013 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide G.S.R. 584(E), dated the 29th August, 2013 and was last amended vide notification no 133/2013-Cus (N.T.) dated the 30th December, 2013 published  in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide G.S.R. 803(E) dated the 30th December, 2013.
