PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 94/2008, DT. 21/10/2008

Amendments in SION (E93)

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions/corrections in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time.

2. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) as contained in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as amended from time to time, additions/corrections at appropriate place as mentioned in ANNEXURE “A” to this Public Notice are made.

3. This issues in Public interest.

AMENDMENTS/CORRECTIONS

Existing SION at S.No. E 93 for the export product “Natural Sesame Seeds/ Sun Hemp Seeds/ Safflower Seeds/ Sesbenia Seeds” under Food Products is amended as under:-

E93	Export Item	Quantity	Import Item	Quantity
	Natural Sesame Seeds/ Sun Hemp Seeds/ Safflower Seeds/ Sesbenia Seeds/Castor Seeds.	1 kg	1. Raw Jute	1.05 kg/kg content in the export product packaging.
			2. Relevant LDPE/HDPE/PP Granules	1.05 kg/kg content in the export product packaging.

Import items remain unchanged.
