Addition in DEPB rates at Engineering and Chemical Group
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions/amendments in the Schedule of DEPB Rates (as amended from time to time) with immediate effect:
1. New DEPB rates for the following products shall be added after Sl. No. 607 of Product Group “ Engineering Products” (Product Code: 61):-

| 609 | Gensets from 3 KVA upto and including 20 KVA | 4% | -- |
| 610 | Gensets above 20 KVA upto and including 600 KVA | 5% | -- |
| 611 | Pumpsets from 3 HP upto and including 28 HP | 4% | -- |
2. New DEPB rates for the following products shall be added after Sl No. 1026 of the Product Group “Chemicals” (Product Code: 62)

3. Value cap for the product “Cobalt Sulphate” appearing at S.No.948 of the Product Group “Chemicals” (Product code: 62) of DEPB rate Schedule stands revised to Rs 550/- per kg. from the existing value cap of Rs 350/- per kg.
