Amendments in the Schedule of DEPB Rates

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates” with immediate effect.

1. Product Group: Engineering Product Code: 61

The Serial numbers 67b, 67c, 85, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 336, 337, 341, 342, 343, 344, 345, 350, 351, 352, 381, 386, [OLD- 387 ] 387A, 387B, 387C and 387D., 390 and 391 are temporarily suspended.

(In above para Sl. No. 387A, 387B, 387C and 387D has been corrected vide CORRIGENDUM, DT. 05/04/2008)

2. Product Group: Chemicals Product Code : 62

The Serial numbers 842 and 899 are temporarily suspended.

3. Product Group: Miscellaneous Products Product Group: 90

[DELETED -(i) Products covered under the DEPB Sl. No. for Engineering Product Group and Chemicals Product Group mentioned at Sl. No. (1) and (2) above shall not be entitled for DEPB benefit under Sl. No. 22D of the Misc. Product Groups. ]

(Above Sl.No. 3(i) has been deleted with immediate effect, vide PN. NO. 108/2008, DT. 14/11/2008)

(ii) Export of Non-basmati rice shall not be entitled for DEPB rate under Sl. No. 22C and 22D of the Miscellaneous Product.
