Amendments/ additions/ deletions/ corrections in the SION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/additions/deletions/corrections in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time.

2. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) as contained in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as amended from time to time, the amendments/additions/deletions/corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in ANNEXURE "A” to this Public Notice are made.

3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION), the following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below: -

CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS

After the existing SION entry at Sl.No.A-3625, new SION entry at Sl.No. A-3626 is added as per ANNEXURE “B” to this Public Notice.

The quantity of import items from Sr. No. 2 to 6 can be allowed by adopting the following formula: A X 0.49/B MT Where “A” = Quantity allowed for One MT of export under the above SION Where “B” = Net content of Rubber in MT per MT of export item. Note: 2. Whenever Rubber Hose is reinforced with Polyester Fabric, Polyester Filament Yarn may be allowed on the basis of 1.05 MT per MT content in the export. Note: 3.
