Amendment in import policy of Pigeon Peas (Cajanus Cajan)/Toor Dal under Chapter 7 of the ITC (HS)2017, Schedule- I (Import Policy)
S.O. 2490(E). - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy of items of Chapter 7 of the ITC(HS)2017, Schedule- I (Import Policy), as under:-

Policy Condition 2: Import shall be subject to an annual (fiscal year) quota of 2 lakh MT as per procedure to be notified. This restriction will not apply to Government's import commitments under any bilateral/regional Agreement/MOU.
2. Effect of this Notification: Import policy of Pigeon Peas (Cajanus cajan)/Toor Dal under EXIM Codes: 0713 60 00, 0713 90 10 and 0713 90 90 is revised from 'free' to 'restricted'.
