Addition/ Amendment in AEZs, data for DEPB rate fixation, certification of SEB for import of fuel
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1):-
1) The Worksheet for computation of DEPB Rates as given in
Appendix 10 A pertaining to the “Data Sheet for DEPB Rates” is corrected as under:

2) S.No 3 (a) of the documents to be enclosed with the application form in
Appendix 10 B pertaining to the “Application form for grant of Advance Licence under the Duty Exemption Scheme “ is amended as under:
(a) Copy of the permission issued to the manufacturer exporter by the competent authority (concerned State Electricity Board or Power Corporation or Regulatory Commission of the concerned State) under Section 44 of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 for the installation of captive power plant based on the specified fuel unless the permission is specifically waived by the State Electricity Board.
3) The following additions/ amendments are made in
Appendix 15 pertaining to the Agri Export Zone:
