Amendment in Export Policy of items under HS Codes 27101241, 27101242, 27101243, 27101244, 27101249, 27101941, 27101944 and 27101949 of Chapter 27 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy.
S.O. 2985(E).- In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act. 1992 (No 22 of 1992). as amended. read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20. the Central Government hereby amends the Export Policy of items under HS Codes 27101241, 27101242, 27101243, 27101244, 27101249, 27101941, 27101944 and 27101949 of Chapter 27 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HE) Export Policy.

The exporter is required to submit a self – declaration to the concerned Customs authority at the time of export confirming that 50% of quantity mentioned in the Shipping Bill has been /will be supplied in the domestic market during the current financial year.
However, export to Bhutan and Nepal is exempted from this condition.
Similarly, this condition is not applicable to 100% EoUs and units in SEZs.
Such exporters are also required to file a quarterly return to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG). |
