HB Vol.1 - DEPB Rate list - Appendix 28A

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II- Section 3-Sub- section (ii) vide S.O No. 283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) (RE-99), 1997-2002.

1. The following amendments/corrections shall be made in Appendix-28A:
   
   1. The description of the export product as given in S.No.5 of the Product Group: Engineering shall be corrected to read as follows:
      
      "Aluminium Foil of a thickness (excluding backing) not exceeding 0.20 mm commercial grade embosed cut of shape, preformed coated printed or other re-inforcing material"
      
      
   2. The DEPB rate against S.No.447 of Product Group: Engineering shall be corrected to read as 14%.
      
      
   3. The DEPB rate against S.No.450 of Product Group: Engineering shall be corrected to read as 14%.
      
      
   4. The DEPB rate against S.No.451 of Product Group: Engineering shall be corrected to read as 14%.
      
      
   5. The DEPB rate against S.No.580 of Product Group: Chemicals shall be corrected to read as 14%.
      
      
   6. The DEPB rate against S.No.37 of Product Group: Plastic shall be corrected to read as 21%.
      
      
   7. The entry at S.No. 37A of Product Group: Chemicals shall be corrected to read as under:

   37A.

   Formulation containing namely DL-2 Aminobutanol, Diethyl Malonate, Triethyl Orthoformate, Acaerto Butyrolactone, Thymidine, Potassium Penicillin G first crystals, Potassium Penicillin G crude, Potassium Penicillin V first crystals or penicillin Vacid first crystals. A) Injections B) Syrup/oral suspension C) Tablets/Capsules D) Intravenous Infusions

2. The description of export product in S.No.38 of Product Group: Plastics shall be amended to read as "Hessian Bags with LDPE/HDPE/PP liner".
   
   
3. The description of export product in S.No.622 of Product Group: chemicals shall be amended to read as " 1-(2-propenyl)-1,3 Dihydro-2-H Benzimidazole 2-one (minimum 99% purity)".
   
   
4. The description of export product in S.No.621 of Product Group: chemicals shall be amended to read as "1-(3-chloropropyl)-2-Benzinidazoline".
   
   
5. The following shall be added at the end of S.No.584 of the Product Group: Engineering:

7. The value cap for DEPB entitlement as given in column (4) against S.No.16 of Product Group: textile is amended to read as Rs.300/- per piece.
   
   
8. The value cap for DEPB entitlement as given in column (4) against S.No.17 of Product Group: textile is amended to read as Rs.400/- per piece.
   
   
9. The value cap for DEPB entitlement as given in column (4) against S.No.18 of Product Group: textile is amended to read as Rs.400/-per piece.
   
   
10. The value cap for DEPB entitlement as given in column (4) against S.No. 6,9, 10 and 13 of Product Group: Miscellaneous items shall be Rs.150 per kg.
    
    
11. Description of export product given in S.No.72 of Product Group: Chemicals shall be amended to read as "Tolnaftate BP/UPS".
    
    
12. Description of export product given in S.No. 186 of Product Group: Chemicals shall be amended to read as "Fast orange GC base".
    
    
13. Description of export product given in S.No.839 of Product Group: Chemicals shall be amended to read as "postal/non-postal stationeries such as various type and size of plain/printed envelopes, Window/ Airmail envelopes, canvas coated products.
    
    
14. Description of export product given in S.No.851 of Product Group: Chemicals shall be amended to read as "DV Acid Chloride/ Cypermethric Acid Chloride".
    
    
15. Description of export product given in S.No.946 of Product Group: chemicals shall be amended to read as "Calcium Hypochlorite (stable bleaching powder).
    
    
16. Description of export product given in S.No. 121 of Product Group: Plastic shall be amended to read as "Polyuerthene Resin Solution containing 66% resin in Ethyl Acetate Solvent"
    
    
17. Description of export product given in S.No. 67 of Product Group: Plastic shall be amended to read as "PVC flexible sheet/film".
    
    
18. Description of export product given in S.No.29 of Product Group: Textile shall be amended to read as
    
    "Blankets/Blazer cloth/Vellour/Overcoating/jacketing cloth made of synthetic waste/ Woollen waste/Woollen Rags/synthetic rags/Scoured Wool".
    
    
19. Description of export product given in S.No.172 of Product Group: Engineering shall be corrected to read as "MS colour coated Ghamla (made of HR Steel).
