One-time extension in Export Obligation for bona fide default in respect of old Advance License.

Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 7(RE-98)1997-2002 dated 24-04-1998 and Public Notice No. 44(RE-98) 1997-2002 dated 28-09-1998 wherein one time extension upto 31.03.1999 in export obligation period for Quantity Based Advance licenses was provided in respect of Advances Licences under the Duty Exemption Scheme up to 31.03.1996 subject to the terms and conditions indicated therein.

2. In exercise of the powers under paragraph 4.11 of Export and import Policy 1997-2002,the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the public notice no. 7 (RE-98) 1997-2002 dated 24.04.1998.

Paragraph 3 of the Public notice No. 7(re-98)1997-2002 dt. 24-4-1998 shall be amended to read as under.

"This Public Notice shall be applicable in respect of Advance Licenses under the Duty Exemption Scheme issued upto 30.9.1996"
