Advance Licences issued on or before 28/2/95 (and not covered by General Amnesty to extend EO period prior to)

Subject: Revalidation and Extension in Export Obligation period of Advance Licences issued under Duty Exemption Scheme. Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 38/(PN)/1997 -2002, dated 1st September 1997,
2. In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997 -2002,
the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes following correction

1. The words "prior to 28.2.1995" shall be substituted on or before 28.2.1995”,
   
2. The first sentence of Para 2 (vii) of above said Public Notice shall be amended to read as under:
   "No revalidation/extension in export obligation period will be allowed in the licences where misrepresentation/fraud has come to the notice of Regional Licensing Authorities and/or where any enforcement action has been initiated by Enforcement wing of Regional Licensing Authority/Headquarter DGFT.
   
3. The words "who had issued the licences" appearing in paragraph 3 of the above said Public Notice shall be deleted.
