Export obligation & Validity Period Extended under former Duty Exemption Scheme
Sub:
Revalidation and Extension in Export Obligation period of licences issued on or after 1.10.1995 under Duty Exemption Scheme.
Attention is invited to licences issued under Duty Exemption Scheme as per Chapter 7 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 1992-97.
The licences issued on or after 1.10.95 under the Duty Exemption Scheme as per Chapter 7 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 1992-97 with original validity of 12 months shall have the extended validity of 18 months.
The licences issued on or after 1.10.95 under the Duty Exemption Scheme as per Chapter 7 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 1992-97 with original export obligation period of 12 months shall have the extended export obligation period of 18 months.
Subject to the conditions given above, further revalidation and extension in export obligation period of licences issued prior to 1.4.97 shall be governed by the provisions of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), 1997 -2002.
