POLICY CIRCULAR No.9(RE-00)/2000-2001 Dated 26th May, 2000

To consider ICD, Jalandhar as a notified port under paragraph 7.56 of Handbook (Vol. 1) (RE-00).

Attention is invited to paragraph 7.56 of Handbook (Vol. 1) (RE-00) which provides that the export shipments under DFRC can be effected from any port mentioned in paragraph 7.19.

Since under Customs notification no.48/2000 dated. 25.4.2000, ICD Jalandhar is a notified port for exports shipments under DFRC, the shipment made from ICD, Jalandhar may be considered for DFRC facility under paragraph 7.56 of Handbook (Vol. 1)

This issues with the approval of DGFT.
