POLICY CIRCULAR No. 3/(RE-2000)/2000-01 Dated 7-4-2000.- Sub:
- Consideration of application under paragraph 6.8 of Handbook(Vol.1) without referenceto Headquarters EPCG Committee.
Attention is invited to Paragraph 6.8 of the Handbook (Vol.1) wherein it has beenstated that in such cases where nexus norms have already been communicated by Headquarters in any case or the same is already established on the basis of the EPCG licences issued in the past by the Port Offices, such applications may not be forwarded to Headquarters EPCG Committee.
In addition to the items covered by the Lists given in Annexure-I, II and III of the
Policy Circular No. 52 (RE-99)/99-2000 dated 18.2.2000, for Hotels, Textile Sector and Garments Sector respectively, it has been decided that in respect of the items given in the Annexure to this Circular, EPCG licences upto Rs. 50 crores may be issued.by RLAs concerned without referring such applications to Headquarters EPCG Committee.
