Issue of Advance Licence for import of Natural Rubber.

Sir,

Attention of all Licensing Authorities is invited to SALC CIRCULAR No.8/98-99 dated 20th February 1999 and SALC CIRCULAR No.11/1998-99 dated 18th March 1999 on the above mentioned subject whereby it was decided that holders of Advance Licences with Natural Rubber as one of the inputs shall procure their requirement of Natural Rubber from STC only.

2. In partial modification of above referred circulars, it has been decided to exempt Natural Rubber Latex from the purview of above Circulars as STC DOES NOT PROCURE Natural Rubber Latex for supply. Accordingly, the holder of advance licences with Natural Rubber Latex as one of the inputs can procure their requirement of Natural Rubber Latex from other sources also, including direct import.

3. All the Licensing Authorities are advised to follow these instructions strictly.
