TRADE NOTICE NO. 07/2003, DATE 14/11/2003

Entering of full details of items of Imports/Exports while submitting applications under Para 4.7 of Hand Book of Procedures 2002-2007 (Vol.I)

It is brought to the notice of Trade that the online applications filed under Para 4.7 of Hand Book of Procedures are now simultaneously transmitted to the concerned Regional Licensing Authority (R.L.A.) as well as to ALC at Hdqrs. RLAs can not issue licences if complete details of items of imports and exports are not entered by exporters while filing online applications. It is also very important for ALC at Hdqrs. to know complete details of items of Imports and Exports, for the purpose of ratification of licences issued by RLAs.

Many exporters do not enter details of inputs and export products while filing online applications. As a result the details of inputs and outputs do not get reflected in the information transmitted to RLA’s for issuance of licence. ALC at Delhi also do not get a clear picture of the items of imports and exports. Therefore, it is requested that while filing online applications for advance licences, the applicants should incorporate details of all inputs and export products instead of giving incomplete information in form of vague sentences like “As per list enclosed.”
