Forfeiture of application fees if applications for pre-scrutiny are not collected back in time.

Trade & Industry are hereby informed that firms who have submitted applications for pre-scrutiny to this office are expected to collect their licenses / applications with deficiencies from the respective counters at the latest within 15 days of submitting their applications failing which applications having deficiencies are liable to be treated as “CLOSED” and their application fees are liable to be forfeited.

It has been noticed in particular that many applicants for Gem REP licenses fail to collect their deficient applications from the counters for a long time. The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council is requested to alert its members in this
