Notifies 1st July, 1989 as the effective date for the purpose of Chapter V of the Finance Act, 1989.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 40 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of July, 1989, as the date on which the provisions of Chapter V of the said Act shall come into force.
