Authorises Carrier airlines to collect the inland Air Travel Tax.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 42 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorises every carrier undertaking the carriage of passengers on inland journeys in its aircrafts, to collect the inland air travel tax leviable under section (1) of that section.

2. This notification shall come into force in relation to inland journeys commencing on or after the 1st day of July, 1989.
