Amendments in the Foreign Travel Tax Rules, 1979
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Foreign Travel Tax Rules, 1979, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Foreign Travel Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2003.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Foreign Travel Tax Rules, 1979, in rule 11, the proviso shall be omitted.
